Great neighborhood bar, but lack quality on the Guinness. Improper pouring, tall head, use the spoon to remove the excess foam after first pour, lack creaminess and warm temperature. Keep walking.

I love this bar so much I don’t mind when the Guinness isn’t perfect. Often, lacks a creamy mouthfeel and tastes a bit metallic lately. Still the best bar for sparking up a conversation with a neighbor with no TV’s to distract.

This is the place that popped my Guinness cherry—very special energy and impressive Guinness. This is a real pub; a place that is consistently busy with regulars, hard working staff, and no TV’s. This is genuinely the top spot for Guinness in Mpls.
