The Guinness Map (App)
We have native like functionality built into the website via a PWA (Progressive Web App).
This means you can install our website on your device and use it just like a regular native app that'd you find on iOS or Android.
Instructions
For iPhone/iPad (iOS)
- Open Safari and visit our website.
- Tap the Share button (the square icon with an upward arrow) at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
- Tap Add in the top-right corner of the screen to confirm.
- You’ll now see our app on your home screen! Tap to open it.
For Android
- Open Chrome and visit our website.
- Tap the Menu button (the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner).
- From the menu, tap "Add to Home Screen".
- Tap Add to confirm.
- You’ll see our app icon on your home screen! Tap to open it.
