Review Guidelines
Everyone is here in search of great Guinness, and we want that experience to be as enjoyable as possible. So, we have a few guidelines for leaving a review on the platform:
- Be honest and fair in your reviews. Whether it's a creamer or a stinker; whether you love the pub or not.
- The score is for the pint, not the pub. Unfortunately, we all know a great pub can still serve a lousy pint.
- Stay on topic. Nonsensical reviews are no help to anyone and will be deleted.
- Write your review in whatever your native language may be.
- Add details and photos of the location to help illustrate ambiance, service, or any other unique features.
- Sarcasm, jokes, and humor are welcome, as long as they come with either an image of the Guinness or a text review.
- Keep politics, religion, and other controversial topics out of reviews.
- Nothing sexual or graphic is allowed.
- The main image needs to be of the pint. Selfies are fine as long as you can clearly see the pint.
- No personal information, please.
Moderation
All reviews are automatically checked and flagged against the above criteria, and we reserve the right to delete or modify reviews at our discretion.
We will never modify what you said. We will only delete the offending text portion of the review or the image.
We may email you first to give you the chance to fix anything that has been flagged.
