Great pub in the northern quarter of Manchester where it can be a struggle to find Guinness on draught and not out of a can. Fairly priced for the area and a solid pint (although it can be hit or miss depending on the staff and busyness).

Undoubtedly the best in Manchester, however, it has become somewhat of a tourist trap in recent times thanks to social media. Small pub with traditional live Irish music and live sports. Would recommend visiting on weekdays or arriving early on weekends.

My local. Excellent Guinness and a top pub for watching football and playing darts. Have struggled to find better in Greater Manchester for the price.

As far as Wetherspoons go this is a good one. Decent pints, beer garden and atmosphere on weekends. They have the Guinness Quality Standards accreditation plaque dated to 2022. Not bad for the price but there is better within a 5 minute walk.
