While the food is delicious and the slogan is hilarious “warm beer, lousy food”, the Guinness is absolutely frigid, not poured correctly, in the wrong glass, and overall terrible. Disappointing for an establishment claiming to be an “Irish pub”.

I mean, it’s what I expected. This was ordered out of morbid curiosity. Canned Guinness is much, much better.

Was driving bay and saw what looked like an Irish pub in the corner of a strip mall. Hopes were low. But wow great pint! 16oz glass. Two part pour. Head was a touch large but temperate was perfect and the taste was awesome. Mucho creama!

Talk about being hoodwinked. Pint looked fantastic but had a terrible taste. Just off. Too bitter/sour. Just not right.

I definitely got a much better pint than the previous reviews. Had a nice head, good dome, and a nice taste and mouth feel

No one comes to Nashville for Irish pubs—and this place kindly reminded me why. Guinness was fine-ish. The pour looked like a bubble bath for giants. Bitter finish, decent crème, emotional damage.

Damn near a perfect looking pint. Good crème, taste, but cold. Not near as cold as the other Hugh O’Connors location but still a bit colder than it should be.

Pour was OK. Head a bit much with no dome. Nice cream and mouthfeel. Temperature spot on. But taste was a bit off - bitter.

In a city that has some fine pubs, this is much more of a sports bar, which shouldn’t be surprisingly since it’s directly across from Fenway. Solid pint and would order again.

Not a good pint. Looked ok to start. Just a bitter taste. Prob 20 people in the place and maybe 2 drinking Guinness. No real creaminess. Go to Kells if you want a good pint in Portland.

I absolutely love this pub. They had a trad session here on Sunday night that was wonderful. But they keep serving in dirty, wet glasses. Otherwise pints would be top notch. Gorgeous pub and vibes but pints could look better.

Last pint in Wales before I get on the train. This was complimentary from the hotel, but still an enjoyable pint. Clean glass, good pour, nice taste.

Crazy cheap pint. If you factor value for money it’s a 5. But all things considered it’s a 4. Totally drinkable and for the price, would stick around and have a session.

I’m giving this a 4.0 because the view is beautiful. After a 6 flight stair climb with a stop for oxygen, you’re greeted by a wonderfully decorated cocktail bar and restaurant. Obviously you don’t come here for the Guinness, but it’s not terrible.

Girl behind the car took a sopping wet glass and filled it with Guinness. It was technically a two part pour with about 10 seconds of rest as that’s what it took to pour my wife’s Peroni. Just a middling pint all around. Don’t come here for Guinness.

Nice price for a pint. I spilled it carrying it so can’t blame the barman. Enjoyable all around especially sitting on the small front terrace.

NOT GUINNESS. Got catfished again. My wife went in to order me a Guinness and they poured their own Mermaid Stout without letting her know. It’s actually a decent stout but it’s not Guinness.

Stumbled into this place across from the stadium. Great pint. Nothing else to say.

So went on a limb and ordered a Guinness at a gin-focused cocktail bar. And honestly it exceeded expectations. The cocktails were phenomenal and the pint was pretty damn good as well. Glass was a bit dirty but no complaints considering the venue.

Finally a good pint in Cardiff. The barmen let it sit for a few minutes too long so it didn’t have a dime but boy did the taste make up for it. Lots of cremu as well. Highly recommend.

Cheapest pint I’ve had since leaving London but not very good. Its look was deceived by the tastes and mouthfeel. Zero schtik. Just not a very good tasting pint. Didn’t even finish it.

Another pint that punches above its initial appearance. This was pour from two kegs - the old “two part pour”. First keg was tapped and he finished off a new one. Not a lot of dome but super creamy and delicious.

First pint was ok. It was served in a Guinness glass with a proper pour but the foam was spilled over the glass and had to clean it up. The second one I didn’t even snap a pic of. It was served in a tall skinny Pilsner glass.

I mean, again, random place to order a Guinness. But happens to be fortunate to watch Buddy Guy jump on stage and rif for 30 minutes. So 2.5 for the Guinness and 100 stars for Buddy Guy.

Again, it’s a placed called Budweiser Brickhouse Tavern, so imagine my surprise when they had Guinness on draught. Ordered it out of curiosity. Of course terrible pour. But honestly, not bad. Was good enough to have 3 of them.

Man, started strong. Gorgeous looking pint. But downhill from there. Mouthfeel was thin. No real lacing. Bitter on the palate.

This was ordered as an experiment. Hotel lobby bar. One part pour. Regular pint glass. But honestly, still drinkable. Sort of shocked. I prepared for the worst.

Bar tender was super nice. First pour was off and he recognized it, pulled it back and gave me a new pour. No dome but was enjoyable and tasted good. Also the oysters will amazing.

Love this place. Incredible whisky selection plus amazing pints. Only slight is they serve in 16oz glasses not 20oz.

I ordered this purely out of curiosity. Out of principle, I only drink Guinness in a proper pub. Glad that this reinforces that decision.

Welp got catfished. Was told they have Guinness on draft. They do not. It’s a can. Bar is full of locals doing karaoke which is near. But Guinness is a can.

I will give credit where due. Despite being balls deep with 20 something’s screaming for espresso martinis and Tito’s and soda, they took the time pour a proper tint.

Popped into this pub randomly on a visit to Ashford and was craving a pint in the middle of the day. As you can see, the glass wasn’t very clean, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was drinkable and totally average.

In my opinion, this is about as perfect as a pint you will find in London. super cool pub that I visited late on a Monday evening that was packed to the gills with the after work crowd.

The rule of thumb with Guinness is, the more you pay, the worse it is. That holds true (not surprisingly) at Midway airport. The most average pint I’ve ever had. But had to try it.

Well, this isn’t your father’s Irish pub. Very modern and upscale decor, but the pint was served in a random beer glass. It’s supposed to be draft but I can’t find the tap. It tastes OK but all the normal appearances and pageantry is missing.

Super quaint pub in an old house. Lake Oswego is gorgeous. Pint was great. Tad too large of a head. But the pint was great. And the fish and chips was some of the best I’ve ever had!

Wow! Super happy to have been able to come in while this place was open. They are closed Monday and Tuesday and only open 4-10. Was treated to beautiful pints and a fantastic trad session!

This is the most average of pints I’ve ever had. Interesting vibe in the bar, but it’s a 16oz pint in a non branded glass. Guinness umbrellas outside and some merch inside let me to believe it might be a good one. But it’s not…

This place is definitely a “late night go deep” bar but I’ll give credit that they are pouring proper deep into the night !

Second best pint after Brownie’s across the street. It is inside a beautiful old bank building, but really attracts the after work happy hour crowd and can be quite loud.

This is the most authentic pub in Philly. Simple, one TV, no obnoxious music and just a bunch of geezers having a boozer.

This is NOT a pub. It’s a massive club that pretends to be a pub. After 9pm they serve Guinness in plastic cups. Passable if you’re near Fenway and want a Guinness. Otherwise there are a dozen better places in Boston.

This was a nice respite from the heat. Great pub, friendly Irish bartenders and creamy pints. Not a 5 simply because not a Guinness branded class.

Man this was one of my favorite pints in San Fran. The domeage wasn't quite there but tasted so good!

If you need Guinness, it'll do. Most of the time, if you come here a bit later (9pm+), it's strictly a college aged crowd and they will serve you Guinness in a plastic cup. I was fortunate enough to get a proper glass once or twice.

This was the Guinness Extra Cold on tap. You don't go to Islay to drink the Guinness, but it was a treat after having a dozen drams of whisky to finish the night with a nice pint.

Might have been because it was the first pint after 12 hours of being on a plane, but this hit in all the right places. Pub inside St Pancras station, so worth popping in for a pint.

Beautiful view in a tiny little town overlooking a historical church and fountain right on the town square. 5/5 for atmosphere, 4/5 for the pint.

It gets the job done. I think the Celt Irish Pub in downtown McKinney is better but this is still more than drinkable.

In my opinion, you will never get a 5/5 outside of Ireland. However, The Celt is one of the best I’ve had stateside, especially in Texas. Would highly recommend if you find yourself in McKinney, TX
