not a bad flavor, just too liquid for my taste. cremu is not a characteristic here. i think its a fine spot for a happy hour guinny beer.but not one for greatness. ofc the glass is wrong, but for what it is, it looks decent.

so far, the best beer ive had in phx. but im not screaming from the mountain tops. its still pretty average of a pint. cremú and shtickage are lacking. flavor is ok. mouthfeel is its best trait.

not a bad pint. weakest factor is the bitterness. not as smooth as id like it. bartendress did proper pour and wait, but the magic just wasnt caught this time.

atlanta you confuse me. the beer looks ugly, but the flavor is fantastic. im lost. wrong glass and bad head, but the cremú and mouthfeel are fookin orgasmic. flavor could be better, however.

cremú. it slaps ya in the face. maybe even your ancestors. i so morbidly wish it was in a proper glass to have the full affect. this may top the best guinny pig ive had in the wrong glass. makes no sense because this bar is dive central

the taste is carrying the bulk here. cremú and mouthfeel could be better. but honestly, its not a bad pint. if i had this elsewhere, id be content. but the last bar i frequented was way better. and its 5 minutes away walking wise. go to limerick.

a proper fookin pint. cremú, shtickage, and coolidity are in chakra allignment. my complaint is the domage being too lackluster; as you can see in the pic.

the guinny has traits of a missing father. cremú is missing, shtickage is absent. but, the spirit is there. the flavor is dam good and its sole saving grace

not the würst- surprisingly. not great, but passes the test. the bartendress served a proper pint with what she had and for that- i appreciate it. it could be stronger and creamier tho. much more.

after digging through 3 feet of foam youll eventually taste the oil. its bitter, light, and lacks depth. aftertaste is a kick in the nads too.

this is the best pint ive had in the phx area as of 5/14 10:02pm. a very good pint and cremú was very well done. this is the standard thus far

poured in one go. bitter flavor from the jump. no head and wrong glass. lackluster drink. plain and simple

wrong glass, no head, too cold. the mouthfeel is way too watery. flavor was nonexistent. this bar simply doesnt deserve the guinness draft spout.

rushed pour. smaller than usual glass- after 3 sips it was half gone. very bitter and feel was not good. again, all in account of being served too quickly.

this may be the sexiest pint ive seen. shistancy was very well, and bitterness was top tier. i think the cremu could be slightly better

velveteene and cremú are consistant. i would like it to be a tad more bitter- but still a knockout pint at an all time pub.

unbranded glass, but dont let it scare you away. the cremú is well done. i would say the bitterness can be better. shistancy is well done too.

cremú is a big factor for me. this hit super saiyan levels. evolved from velvety texture to lush heavenly clouds. it pains me to say how good this is and knowing ill never find it in the states. my gripe is that the head was loose and not flat.

my first drink in london as an american. compared to the states, this is more bitter, not as thick, and the bubbles float differently. i THINK there will be better, but this pint was comparable to the chicago guinness brewery to me.

glass contents were too cold. flavor was lacking. crému was visually appealing- but non existent. i am not a fan. its on the bad spectrum of bitterlage. it "passes", but only because ive had much worse in the past.

a diamond in the rough. crému is very well done. bitterage is a little in the higher end- but i like it. only complaint is the head had some bubbles. i wish the glassage choice was the 20oz one too.

this would be a base mark in terms of tashte and velvetine feel. nothing spectacular, but nothing to scoff at. its an average guinny that wont win any awards but wont disgruntle the purist either

rule of thumb: if guinness is served in an unofficial glass, its gonna be a downer. while its not "terrible", its lacking. not enough cremú or bitniz flavor.

i like this. a thoroughbred 80s superhero guinness. strong taste and good texture. creaminess could be better- but aye, its a working mans version guinness.

maybe it was too busy, or the fact that the tap was just switched. i wanted to love this place after so many reviews, but the particular glass i got was not good. too warm. weird bitterness aftertaste. 30% head. i hope to give em another chance one day.

hey, this glass has all the bells and whistles. great feel, visuals, and crispy cremú. but the dog has no bite. flavor is lacking. its odd since its not watered down- but its like an imposter guinness. still worthy of stoppin by- but only 1 round

a sleeper agent. the crémevity is a VERY strong factor here. each sip is like a pillowy kiss from monica belluci. taste is present- but not strong. i never wouldve thought this level of a pint would be around here. only issue is the glass is not proper.

the north side of dallas seems to not know how to properly pour guinness. the pour was rushed and the super bitter flavor proves it. creaminess is lacking, just like the appearance. theres potential here- but not today

head was concaved. drink was empty and bitter in flavor. i think "shallow" is the flavor word of this pint. i came during a man city v arsenal game, so it was rushed.a pub should be judged on its busiest day for consistency, and this place failed. avoid.

to be fair, this is not an irish or dive bar establishment. that being said, this Guinness sucks. no head or lasting flavor. no further review.

not creamy- but not watery. the aftertaste was bitter- but not stinging. of the trifecta of irish bars, crafty irishman reigns supreme. canons is the younger brother that could never live up to the full potential.

a sleeper. flavor is not strong here. shitty glass, but it had the bodiness and color. an attempt at the clover is there though! for that- it gets the larry bird ranking.

my god...this is the one. after 4 years living in dallas, everything had led to this moment. the color-ruby. the liquid- an irish spring. the flavor- ambrosia from mt. olympus. the head even has a clover. stop reading this, and come here.

no proper glass and the pour itself was horrid. the ONLY good thing going for this is the head. no bubbles. outside of that, its a very metallic taste, watery, and no resemblance of a proper guinness. beware all ye who enter.

fantastic mouthfeel and good creaminess. a little on the bitter end, but i find it enjoyable. the head did have 2-3 bubbles, and i wish it had more to the head. this is a full bodied fella.

the "heaviness" you look for in a Guinness is there. Unfortunately, the bitterness is too noticeable to make it great. the cream on top was oddly watered down too.
