Furey’s was lively—DJ spinning Motown and a crowd clearly enjoying itself. Not quite my scene. Guinness was fine but carried a bit too much head. One and done.

Stephen is a new generation publican. I have friends who only drink here because of the vibe. A good selection of local beers and current music draw a diverse crowd. The Guinness is fine but it’s tough being across the road from Marian.
