Another solid pint just a three minute walk from Kilmainham Gaol. Creamy head, clean glass, smooth roast and perfect temperature. No theatrics, just a properly kept Guinness in a proper Dublin local. Easy stop after a history fix.

Old Royal Oak is a bustling local. Few tourists, often packed. Friends swear by the Guinness and I can't fault them. I love the place. It’s not a legendary drink but it has a superb flavor. Pours are consistent and the craic does the rest.
