Another solid pint just a three minute walk from Kilmainham Gaol. Creamy head, clean glass, smooth roast and perfect temperature. No theatrics, just a properly kept Guinness in a proper Dublin local. Easy stop after a history fix.

Old Royal Oak is a proper local. Few tourists and often packed. Friends swear by the Guinness. I love the place itself. It’s not a legendary pint but beautiful flavor. Pours are consistent and the craic can be mighty.
