Despite a bar in the front, Venue is mostly a restaurant, tucked away from the beach spots of Strandhill. Was here for a lunch. Pint’s fine. Slightly thin with less than average lacing. Some pours overflowing. Flavour a bit thin. Okay temp.

A creamy pint overlooking Strandhill Beach, and honestly the setting is doing half the work. Dark, creamy, and settled just right, with the Atlantic rolling quietly in the background. Easy to drink, hard to rush, and gone far too quickly.
