Introducing Barhops: Plan and Share Your Own Guinness Bar Crawl
One great pint is good. A few great pints, in a few great pubs, one after the other? Even better! Today we're launching Barhops, a way to plan your own Guinness bar crawl using the pubs on The Guinness Map.
Barhops are live on the website and in our iOS and Android apps.
Making a barhop
Head to Barhops and tap "Create a Barhop". Give it a name, add a description if you like, and you're ready to start adding stops.
There are two ways to add a pub:
- From any pub's page, tap the Barhop button and pick which of your barhops to add it to. You can also start a brand new barhop from there.
- From your barhop's page, tap "Add Stop" and search for the pub you want.
Each barhop can have up to 15 stops, which should be enough for even the most ambitious afternoon. You can remove a stop any time, and edit the name and description whenever you like.

The route
Every barhop shows its stops on a map, numbered in order, with a walking route between them. On your phone you can flip between the map and the list of stops, and on desktop they sit side by side. Tap any stop to jump to that pub on the main map.

Sharing
Every barhop gets its own page on the website, so you can send the link to whoever's coming along. They don't need an account to see it.
Barhops also show up on your profile, so anyone checking out your reviews can see the crawls you've put together too.
Finding a barhop
Not sure where to start? Browse the community barhops and filter by country and city to find crawls other people have made near you or wherever you're heading next. You can use one as is, or use it as inspiration for your own.
Get out there!
Plan a crawl in your city, or one for your next trip, and share it with us. We'd love to see where you end up.
If you have ideas for Barhops or something isn't working right, let us know on the feedback page.
Sláinte!
