A like only tells you so much. Was it a great pour? A great photo? Did the review make you laugh? So we've swapped likes for reactions!
Reactions are live on the website and in our iOS and Android apps, on both reviews and barhops.
How it works
Tap the face on a review and pick one of six emoji:
- ❤️ Love
- 📷 Great photo
- 🔥 Fire
- 😂 Funny
- 😭 Sad
- 👀 Interesting
You get one reaction per review. Pick a different emoji to change it, or tap your reaction again to remove it. Each emoji shows its own count on the review, so you can see what people made of a pint before you read a word.
We kept the list short on purpose. Every phone shows these the same way, and with only six to choose from, the counts actually mean something.
Double tap to ❤️
Scrolling the feed and see a pint that looks the part? Double tap the photo to react with ❤️. You'll get a little pop when it lands. If you've already reacted, a double tap won't change your reaction.
Your likes are safe
If you liked a review before today, you haven't lost it. Every existing like now shows as a ❤️.
Barhops too
Barhops get the same treatment. React to someone's bar crawl from its card with any of the six emoji, and pick again to swap or remove it.
Sign in to react
Anyone can see the reactions on a review, but you'll need to be signed in to add your own.
Let us know what you think
This one came from wanting to say more than "nice" to a good review. If there's an emoji you think is missing, or something isn't working right, let us know on the feedback page.
